Information for lecturers

Submit your article now for Software Quality Days 2012!

There are several possibilities to present your topics and information as a lecturer at the Software Quality Days:

Practical lecture

Lecture (approximately 40 minutes)

Only lectures that are directly relevant to users are permissible as practical lectures. Consultant lectures are only accepted when the presentation relates to practice, and the presentation is approximately equally divided with a co-lecturer who is a customer or user.

Presentations by tool manufacturers are only accepted when they are generally applicable and primarily address a method or practice that must be presented independent of the tool. Lectures that refer to your own tools may be held in the Solution Provider Forum in conjunction with a sponsoring.

Scientific lecture

Lecture (approximately 40 minutes)

Scientific lectures must present a corresponding level of innovation and research results, and they should relate to practical applications.

Scientific lectures will be evaluated particularly critically by the programme committee, and it is expected that the underlying scientific aspects be appropriately presented in the submitted lecture (for example by specific references to past studies or research projects that form the basis of the lecture).

Tutorial/workshop

The tutorial topics may be freely selected from among the themes of the conference.

Tool applications can be presented in a tutorial/workshop. However, pure tool workshops by tool manufacturers are not permitted. If tools are presented in a workshop, they must always refer to a method or topic that is explained in the workshop.

This must also be described in the submission.

Tutorials always last half a day.
